The Forrest Lodge VFW in Sellersville, Pa. is an old school venue that lies back in the woods and off the beaten path. It does not have cushioned seating, carpeting, chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, or any of the finer touches that many of today's venues hold. It has no theatre style seating, no sound deadening walls, or ever changing coorporate trademarks or logos. What the Forrest Lodge VFW in Sellersville, Pa. holds is an atmosphere that is nostalgic reminding us of the "Good Ole Days". The Event Hall is one large room, with nothing more than a concrete floor. It possesses an elevated stage spanning 35 feet. The dated curtain systems are in place, and still operational, forming the layout of a proscenium arch stage. The venues ceiling, suspending high above the floor and arched in shape, spans from side to side of the timeless structure. It houses an atmosphere that will remind many seasoned concert goers of days gone by. October 5th 2019 will be a night that brings back that feeling you exhumed years ago on "Concert Night". The Forrest Lodge VFW in Sellersville, Pa. will be the place to be, and "The-Show" will be topic of discussion the next day. Along with "Teeze/Roughhouse", "The Defiance", "The Programme", RicterScale Sound, and StageTrip Productions, our goal is to simply kick your ass for this one night, and leave you wanting more.......
Established in January of 1935, Forrest Lodge VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post #245 has served its community and fellow veterans in various ways for the past 78 years. General membership meetings are held on the third Monday of every month at 7:00pm. New members are always welcome. For more information about the national organization, visit www.vfw.org.
